This beautiful couple grew up as friends, but the romance began eighteen years ago when Devin, full of confidence said to Lashay, "girl, I'll change your life!" You couldn’t have told either of them, after they hysterically laughed and walked away they’d be where they are today. They have been married for 12 years, as of June 2023, with two amazing children, Laila and Devin Jr. Their ability to connect as best friends and their mutual commitment to growing together is what they appreciate most about their relationship. In spite of their long history, marriage has brought about many hurdles they were required to overcome. As the founders of TMC, Devin and Lashay have purposed to evolve into who God is calling them to be, and to find the solutions in their own marriage while helping transform the lives of those who too need the tools for a thriving marriage. They both hope to glean from experts in this field, and other couples while building an impenetrable community that is nourished for success for greater world impact.
Dion and Lannie Bass have spent the better part of their adult lives together, 15 plus years of marriage. Stationed at an Air Force base in Georgia, Dion, a Texas native and Lannie, a South Carolinian, met on active duty. The couple met specifically on New Year's Eve of 2005 and have been inseparable since. Dion’s leadership skills, wit and sense of humor quickly won Lannie over. While Lannie’s elegance, calming and gentle spirit did the same for Dion. Loving God and each other, they have been blessed with two beautiful children, Dion Jr. and Bailey.
Dion and Lannie are excited and honored to be a part of TMC as both of their philosophies align. As cliché as it may sound, marriage is a labor of love! Dion and Lannie have experienced firsthand that marriage requires both parties to work diligently at maintaining their passion for each other and their marriage. They look forward to sharing what they have learned about the joys and challenges of marriage with other married couples and those who desire to be married.
Overjoyed with the experience of being married 10 months, “whoohoo!”, KC and Lauren are in marital bliss. No children yet; however, they thoroughly enjoy their one-year-old nephew who is giving them much practice. KC and Lauren take pleasure in the outdoors, theme parks, mini vacations and spending time with family and friends. They say, “give us all pumpkin cream cold brew and football!” Can you tell that fall is their favorite season, because it is!
Like a garden, marriage needs specific care and attention for it to grow healthy and thrive throughout all seasons of life. This includes love, trust, sacrifice, forgiveness, honesty, quality time, support, and joy. KC and Lauren joined TMC because as they venture on this new journey, they hope to assist others in finding and connecting to likeminded couples; individuals who know the importance of a strong faith-filled marriage. Both understanding the importance of seeking counsel from those who have been on the journey of marriage longer, positions them to add strategies and tools to their marriage arsenal in order to be Godly examples for new couples to come.
Marriage has been such a ride! Some high and lows but time and support for each other has helped the Grahams navigate their personal and joint evolution. Being married almost 9 years this coming December, has taught them so much about the blessing of being together and having each other. Nicholas and Clariluz both understand that there is a difference between being and having so it is important for them to connect with other couples who not only have navigated through the journey but are enjoying the twist and turns of this experience called marriage. Nicholas and Clariluz have two beautiful children Roman and Charlotte, a dog and lizard whom they also consider children. They enjoy watching movies, reading books and road trips. Not to toot their horns too loud, but both are excellent taboo players. Nicholas and Clariluz joined TMC because they understand the clarion call for fellowship through community. Believing in the power of love and its ability to transform the lives of those around them but themselves. Marriage is a refinement academy used transform our minds and hearts so that we can operate collectively in order to become unstoppable forces.
